The Municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha has donated a video game console and its associated games, which were in full working order, to the "O Aconchego" Temporary Care Center.

As part of the ongoing modernization of the spaces at the Albergaria-a-Velha Municipal Library, a new video game console was recently acquired and installed. The previous equipment, still in full working condition, was donated to the "O Aconchego" Temporary Care Center, a social response initiative by the Humanitarian Association Mão Amiga.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha to social responsibility, sustainability, and resource reuse. The discontinued equipment will continue to be used for fun, educational, and recreational activities for the children and young people housed at the center.
The "O Aconchego" Care Center plays a fundamental role in protecting and sheltering children at risk or in emergency situations, promoting routines and moments of well-being in a safe and protective environment.
Together, the aim is to build a more sustainable, solidary, and child-focused municipality.
