The Municipal Executive, under the leadership of Catarina Cabeceiras, recently visited the Dr. Duarte Soares Municipal Field, located in the Freguesia da Urzelina. The visit followed an invitation from the Direção do Futebol Clube Urzelinense, with the aim of analyzing on-site a set of needs and potential interventions.
The purpose of these actions is to improve the conditions of this important sports infrastructure. During the visit, several areas for enhancement were identified, and solutions were evaluated to create better conditions for athletes, technical staff, officials, and all users of the space.
This initiative also contributes to the development of sports practice in the municipality. The visit aligns with the Municipality's policy of proximity to associations and local entities, reinforcing the Autarchy's commitment to supporting associative movements and investing in the continuous improvement of sports infrastructure, promoting more qualified, safe, and suitable spaces for sports.
