The event, held on September 27th at the Graciosa Island Cultural Center, was attended by the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructure, Berta Cabral. On the occasion, data and perspectives on the evolution of the tourism sector in the Region and current challenges were shared.
A highlight of the initiative was the launch of the film “Segue a Tua Natureza – Graciosa, Inteligência Natural”. This project aims to showcase the island's natural, landscape, and cultural heritage, reinforcing Graciosa's identity as a tourist destination and valuing its resources.
The session also included a round table with entities and stakeholders involved in tourism and local development. Topics such as digital transformation, communication, tourism promotion, and the need for new strategies for territorial valorization were discussed.
The meeting served as an important moment for reflection and dialogue, underscoring the importance of joint work to promote Graciosa and build a more sustainable and qualified tourism, aligned with the island's potential.
