The organizing committee of Naturais e Amigos do Nordeste was received last week, on October 28th, at the Paços do Concelho by the president of the Nordeste City Council for a courtesy visit, followed by a visit to the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Nordeste and the Associação Amizade 2000 to deliver donations raised at the gathering held in August this year in South Dartmouth, United States.
This year's gathering, the 31st meeting held in the United States, was attended by the president of the Nordeste City Council, the president of the Municipal Assembly, and a member of the council. The event brought together over 700 people at the Campo do Espírito Santo, held as a picnic by the organizing committee with the help of several volunteers.
