The intervention, aimed at benefiting the local community and cultural tourism, includes paving the road, regularizing the platform and verges, and constructing ditches and aqueducts for rainwater drainage.
The work was awarded to the firm “Francisco Pereira Marinho & Irmãos” and has a budget of 103,848.54 euros, plus VAT.
President Francisco Lopes highlighted that the council is implementing an ambitious plan for paving and modernizing the road network in the municipality's rural parishes. "This structural intervention aims to strengthen territorial cohesion, ensure road safety, and significantly improve the quality of life for populations residing outside the urban center," he stated.
