For two intense days, students and teachers from the Ponte da Barca Music Academy experienced a memorable event in Paris, marked by emotion, music, and cultural exchange. A special performance for the Portuguese community drew a large number of emigrants, filling the auditorium with pride and a sense of belonging, demonstrating how music can bridge distances and cross borders.
The trip also included visits to iconic landmarks such as the Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower, and the Palace of Versailles, allowing the young people to learn about French history, culture, and heritage, enriching their experience beyond music.
The delegation, comprising over a hundred people, included the Mayor, Augusto Marinho, Councillor Rosa Arezes, teachers, representatives from the School Grouping, Municipal collaborators, and parents. This initiative provided the young participants with unique moments of fellowship, learning, and growth.
The organization expressed gratitude for the fundamental support from ARCOP Nanterre, the welcome from the Town Hall of Blancourt-sur-Essonne, the promotion and presence of the Portuguese Association and Rancho Flores do Norte de Ballancourt, and the warm reception from the emigrant community.
