The initiative's goal was to raise awareness about the importance of knowing how to act in an emergency situation. The event took place in the entrance hall of the 2nd floor, where patients, staff, and visitors had the opportunity to learn and practice resuscitation maneuvers, acquiring essential knowledge for initial intervention in case of cardiac arrest.
The initiative was supported by the Intensive Care Service and the ULSAM Emergency Training School, helping to bring life-saving skills closer to the community.
The participation and interest shown reinforced the importance of these awareness and training initiatives, which promote knowledge and response capacity in emergency situations.
The central message emphasizes the importance of checking the situation, calling 112, and starting compressions. Knowing how to act can make the difference between life and death, and resuscitation is a skill everyone can learn and that can save lives.
