Organized by Carlos Sá Nature Events, with the support of the Municipalities of Caminha and Viana do Castelo and Turismo Porto e Norte de Portugal, the event reinforced its importance as a sporting, tourist, and territorial promotion initiative. The event also received support from several key partners such as Crédito Agrícola, Caravela Seguros, FYKE Sports, Milaneza, among others.
The Mayor of Caminha highlighted the edition's success and the municipality's continued commitment to this event, which promotes Caminha beyond its borders. The mayor emphasized the innovation of streaming broadcasts, which expanded the event's reach, and thanked the athletes for their commitment, which contributes to the event's growth.
The program began on Friday, October 2nd, with the GTSA 100K race, starting in Viana do Castelo and finishing in Dem. João Carvalho won the men's race (11:18:33) and Ana Rodrigues the women's (12:46:39).
On Saturday, the GTSA 50K and GTSA 15K races took place. João Ferreira (04:39:53) and Juliana Salgueiro (6:57:42) won the 50 km, while Samuel Teixeira (01:28:22) and Liliana Silva (01:57:32) triumphed in the 15 km.
Sunday was dedicated to the 31K, 17K distances, and the 12K Walk, all starting in Dem. Cristiano Cunha (02:52:45) and Spain's María Martínez (03:33:30) won the 31 km. In the 17 km, the winners were Nelson Correia (01:35:07) and Paula Soares (01:57:59).
Over the three days, the event united sport, nature, tourism, culture, and community, traversing trails in Viana do Castelo and Caminha. The organization highlighted the fundamental role of volunteers, security and emergency teams, and local communities in the success of the 15th edition.
