The initiative covers the Unique Service Desks in Sesimbra, Quinta do Conde, Cotovia, Alfarim, the Bús Móvel (Mobile Bus), and the ReMoVe points in Lagoa de Albufeira, Maçã, Quinta do Conde, and Zambujal. The main objective is to promote the correct separation of urban waste among residents.
Batteries and coffee capsules are regularly produced waste in households that require proper separation and disposal. The Sesimbra Municipal Council aims, with this measure, to prevent their incorrect disposal in landfills or other inappropriate locations.
