The application period for scholarships from the Municipality of Seixal for the 2026-2027 academic year runs from October 14 to November 16. The local authority reaffirms education as a strategic priority, with the award of 105 scholarships.
This support program, part of the Municipal Education Plan, aims to assist students residing in the municipality who demonstrate academic merit and face economic difficulties, promoting equal opportunities in accessing education and academic success.
Fifty scholarships will be awarded for public higher education (bachelor's, integrated master's, or master's degrees) worth 1250 euros each. Additionally, there will be five scholarships for higher arts education (1250 euros), 10 scholarships for technical courses in professional higher education (1000 euros), and 40 scholarships for public secondary education (750 euros).
The resolution approving the award of these scholarships was made at the council meeting on October 7, reinforcing the continuity of an educational policy focused on the development of the municipality.
