The "Cinco Terras, Cinco Noites" cultural cycle, promoted by the Municipality of Santiago do Cacém, registered strong public attendance for the five performances by musician Rão Kyao in different locations within the municipality.

The initiative, held in October, brought the show "Fado Bambu – No Som da Palavra" to Santiago do Cacém (2nd), Cercal do Alentejo (3rd), and Vila Nova de Santo André (4th), following performances in Alvalade and Ermidas-Sado on September 24th and 25th. Musician Rão Kyao was the central figure of this first edition of the new cultural cycle.
Bruno Gonçalves Pereira, President of the Municipal Chamber of Santiago do Cacém, described the initiative as "very positive". The aim is to expand the cycle, with new cultural offerings to be developed throughout the autumn and winter in the coming years. The focus is on "artists with quality, a career, and established work", rather than following fleeting trends.
The concept seeks to bring culture closer to citizens through a decentralized and high-quality artistic program, enhancing the cultural offering in the region and ensuring that access to top-level performances is not determined by one's place of residence. Presenting the same artist in multiple locations allows for reaching a wider audience and bringing relevant cultural proposals to areas where access would otherwise be more challenging.
