The initiative, in partnership with the Health Reception and Humanization Service (SAHS), featured makeup artist Fernando Vieira and masseuse Paula Rocha, who provided scheduled patients with a makeup session and a relaxation massage, making their day happier.
The aim was to offer a moment of well-being and a break from reality, with gestures countered by the application of makeup and massage oils.
At the end of the sessions, gifts offered by partners who joined this cause were distributed.
The previous day, a group of women patients from UFAS visited an exhibition by photographer Pedro Sadio and a fair of partners contributing to the well-being and quality of life of patients. The day also included an informal chat and a snack offered by the Dr. Luis Sousa Pinto Medical and Dental Center and "Os Antónios" Restaurant.
This event is part of the activities organized by ULSAS during October, dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, aiming to raise community awareness for prevention and early diagnosis, and to share enriching experiences that encourage and give hope.
