The Centre for Consumer Information (CIAC) has warned of the recall of the Hamax Buddy baby seat, sold between January 1, 2022, and August 6, 2026, due to a potential suffocation risk.

The Directorate-General for Consumer Affairs (DGC) reported that the textile label on the harness strap may not be properly fixed. If it detaches, there is a risk of a child pulling it from the harness, which could pose a suffocation hazard.
The economic operator requests that customers remove the textile label from the harness strap to completely eliminate the suffocation risk.
