Singer Micaela visited the Oncology Service of Garcia de Orta Hospital in Almada on October 22nd, to mark "October Pink", the month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.

The artist sang her new song a cappella and dedicated time to the patients, offering hugs, autographs, and photographs. "These are the moments that make us want to continue, to be here, to listen and share emotions," said the singer after visiting some inpatients, leaving them a message of strength.
The Oncology Service also organized a awareness event on the previous Saturday, the 17th, for the prevention, screening, and early diagnosis of breast cancer. The Caminhada Rosa (Pink Walk), held at the Parque Urbano da Costa de Caparica, was attended by about 40 participants, including health professionals and their families.
The event also featured physical exercises and sports games promoted by dancers Francisco Freire and Mariana Dias, a pigeon release by the União Columbófila da Charneca de Caparica as a symbol of freedom, and a performance by the Tuna Académica da FCT, "As Marias". The initiative was sponsored by former marathon runner Alberto Chaíça and former footballer Bruno Basto.
ULS Almada-Seixal (ULSAS) thanked the support of the Almada Municipal Council, the União Columbófila da Charneca da Caparica, Associação MAR, Restaurante Antónios, and the Tuna Académica da FCT “Marias", congratulating the professionals involved and reinforcing the importance of self-love, empathy, and care.
