The Municipality of Barreiro has been awarded the Bronze Seal of Digital Usability and Accessibility, a recognition from the State Technological Reform Agency (ARTE) for its municipal portal.

In early October, the municipal portal of Barreiro was distinguished with the Bronze Seal of Usability and Accessibility. The award was granted by the State Technological Reform Agency, I.P. (ARTE).
This achievement makes Barreiro the first Municipality in the District of Setúbal to obtain this seal. It reinforces the local authority's commitment to providing municipal information and services through digital channels that are accessible and usable by all citizens.
The awarding of the Bronze Seal acknowledges compliance with the digital accessibility and usability requirements defined for this level. The aim is for online information and services to be consulted and used more efficiently and intuitively by a greater number of people, regardless of their abilities.
The Usability and Accessibility Seal initiative is promoted by ARTE in collaboration with the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P. (INR). The seal recognizes the adoption of best practices in the creation of websites and mobile applications.
