The initiative, part of the European Week of Sport #BeActive, involved students from different educational levels in a diverse program that included sports activities, relaxation moments, and awareness sessions.
At the Escola Básica Pedro Nunes, the program featured a joint warm-up session, an activity fair for preschool and first-cycle students, relaxation games, stretching, gymnastics, athletics, ball games, coordination and balance exercises, capoeira, cooperative relays, and traditional games, culminating in a large dance class.
At the Escola Secundária de Alcácer do Sal, students participated in a sports fair including krav maga, volleyball, skating, table tennis, ergometers, functional training, a 1×1 futsal tournament, and a bicycle gymkhana. The program also included a component on mental health awareness and information, through the Cuida-te Program of the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude (IPDJ).
