The Municipality of Alcácer do Sal is expanding its nutrition workshop "Lanches dos Minichefs", now including preschool children from Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) in the municipality, in addition to the public network.

Through playful activities and sensory exploration of food items, the initiative aims to promote healthy eating habits from childhood. The goal is to help the little ones identify and distinguish between healthier and less healthy snack options, reinforcing the importance of food education in promoting children's health and well-being.
The workshops will take place on October 26, 27, and 28, respectively, at different locations within the municipality: at the Centro Infantil Universo da Brincadeira, the Centro Cultural dos Bairros de São João e Olival Queimado, and the Centro Social e Paroquial do Torrão.
