The Polytechnic University of Santarém is hosting, until November 6, the ACE2-EU's Flavour School, focused on "Migration and Racism: Interculturality in a Changing Europe", bringing together students from various European universities.

The initiative, which had an online opening session on October 27, kicked off in person on November 2 with a welcome session and the creation of International Reflection Circles, facilitated by lecturers Lia Pappámikail and Tatiana Ferreira. This was followed by a presentation by Cláudia Ribeiro (Social Impactors) and a session on demographic challenges and migration in Europe, with Stefanie Putz from Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Austria).
On November 3, participants visited Lisbon. The morning included a visit to Renova Mouraria, where they learned about local perspectives on migration, inclusion, and interculturality. After lunching in Mouraria and Martim Moniz with Migrantour Lisboa, they undertook the Intercultural City Exploration, an autonomous exploration of the city from Martim Moniz to Praça do Comércio, completing five intercultural observation missions and documenting the journey through photographs and reflections.
The week of work continues with workshops, debates, and the development of intercultural and anti-racist challenges, the results of which will be presented on Friday.
