The CIM Lezíria do Tejo participated in Antwerp, Belgium, between October 7th and 9th, in the 3rd inter-regional meeting of the European project RESUREXION, focused on strengthening territorial resilience against extreme phenomena.

Alongside international partners, crucial strategies were debated to enhance the resilience of territories against extreme phenomena such as droughts and floods. Topics covered included risk prevention and mitigation, sustainable water resource management, and the recovery of riparian ecosystems.
The program included technical visits to innovative river recovery and flood containment interventions. These exchanges were considered essential for identifying solutions adapted to the reality of Lezíria do Tejo.
Funded by Interreg Europe, the RESUREXION project reinforces CIM Lezíria do Tejo's commitment to building a greener, more resilient region prepared for the future.
