The initiative, part of the municipal Pink October program, starts at 10:00 AM from the Nossa Senhora das Dores Parks and Dr. Lima Carneiro Park. The aim is to mobilize the population on the importance of health surveillance and early diagnosis of the disease.
The walk marks the international Pink October campaign, which uses the color pink as a symbol for breast cancer awareness. The organization invites all participants to wear a pink clothing item or accessory to make the message of prevention and solidarity visible.

The Pink October Walk is part of the program promoted by the Municipality of Trofa throughout October, which included other awareness initiatives and the VI Pink October Conference, in partnership with ULS Médio Ave.
