The Casa da Arquitetura, in partnership with LIPOR, hosted the "Plant Oxygen" workshop from October 13-15, teaching students plant propagation and material reuse.

Between October 13 and 15, the Casa da Arquitetura hosted the "Construir o Futuro” program, aimed at school groups and integrated into the SHIFT – International Seminar on Architecture and Sustainability. Over three days, students participated in visits, workshops, games, and experiences exploring the links between architecture, environment, and sustainability, covering topics such as the city, landscape, biodiversity, and climate change.
On October 14, the Central Pavilion of the Casa da Arquitetura hosted the "Plantar Oxigénio" workshop, in partnership with LIPOR. Students learned plant propagation techniques, such as cuttings and sowing, and were challenged to reuse everyday packaging, like yogurt cups and plastic bottles, to create pots for new plants.
Each participant took their plant home, with the aim of caring for it and extending the experience. The "Plantar Oxigénio” workshop demonstrated how small actions, combined with knowledge and active participation, can bring young people closer to nature and foster more sustainable habits.
