The Gondomar Municipal Library has started offering free access to Escola Virtual, a digital learning platform from Porto Editora, aimed at students from the 1st to 12th grade.

The new service, accessible via the library's reader card, aims to complement learning acquired in school settings, allowing users to consult educational resources for study support. The platform brings together interactive content from various subjects in basic and secondary education, including vocational training.
Users can review topics, deepen their knowledge, and complete exercises and tests with automatic correction. Escola Virtual also provides digital literary works, multilingual dictionaries, and resources to support reading and writing skills.
For students in the 3rd cycle and secondary education, the “Meu Futuro” (My Future) area allows exploration of hundreds of professions through videos and vocational guidance questionnaires, as well as information on exams and access to higher education.
Free access is available on the nine computers designated for this service at the library: four in the Children's Space, three in the Adult Space, and two in the Multimedia Space. The platform can be used during the library's entire operating hours, providing a space for autonomous study and access to digital learning resources.
With this new offering, the Municipality of Gondomar strengthens the educational resources available to the community, promoting access to knowledge and consolidating learning.
