The initiative aims to distinguish sports merit and value the results obtained throughout the season. Honorees will be celebrated at the Gondomar 2026 Sports Merit Recognition Gala, taking place on November 7th at the Gondomar Multiusos.
Associations, community groups, and athletes from the municipality can submit applications. Athletes born or residing in Gondomar who represent clubs from other municipalities are also included. Recognition is based on competition level and rankings achieved, covering regional, district, national, and international events, according to the criteria defined in the regulations.
Applications, whether individual or collective, must be formalized by completing a specific form. This, along with the documentation required by the regulations, should be sent to the email address gala.desporto@cm-gondomar.pt by 11:59 PM on October 15th. Alternatively, they can be submitted in person at the Balcão Único of the Municipality of Gondomar by 5:00 PM on the same day.
