The Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) and Bosch have established a collaboration protocol to support master's students in the technology field through the Bosch Tech Start program.

This initiative, now in its second edition, also includes students from FCUP in addition to the Faculty of Engineering (FEUP), in partnership with the Social Action Services of the University of Porto (SASUP). The program will integrate 20 students, offering mentorship from experts, specialized and personalized training, and participation in technology events.
Additionally, 10 financial scholarships, each worth €1,000, will be awarded to 10 of the 20 selected students who demonstrate proven economic hardship. These scholarships will be granted at the beginning of each academic year.
Students from six FCUP master's programs are eligible for this initiative: Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Networks and Systems Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, and Information Security. The program will span the duration of the two-year master's degree, following the academic path of the participants.
Applications for the Bosch Tech Start are open until October 31st and can be submitted through the program's official page.
