The Nisa Municipal Council marked the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and the Municipal Day for Equality, under the motto “A Place for All People”, in an initiative attended by Vice-President Dr. José Leandro Semedo.

The event, held at the Nisa Municipal Market on Thursday, October 22nd, brought together Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) from the municipality and a representation from the Nisa School Group. The aim was to reinforce the importance of inclusion, equal opportunities, and the fight against poverty and discrimination.
Developed with the participation of the CLDS 5G project “NisaAjuda+”, the initiative sought to raise community awareness for the construction of a fairer, more inclusive, and supportive society, where all individuals are respected in their dignity and have access to the same rights and opportunities.

Because we all have a place in a society that leaves no one behind.
