The Municipality of Portalegre, through the “Portalegre 4ALL – Living the Center Without Barriers” project, offers electric scooters and wheelchairs for citizens with reduced mobility.

Within the framework of the “Portalegre 4ALL – Living the Center Without Barriers” project, the Municipality of Portalegre provides, by prior appointment, electric scooters and wheelchairs. These devices are intended for use in public spaces providing access to the main cultural facilities of the historic center, for citizens with reduced mobility.
The equipment request service is available at the Tourist Office, in person or by calling nº 245307445. The operating hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. To access the service, recipients, who are individuals with reduced mobility, need to present their Citizen Card or Passport.
The project is co-financed by the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan, and by the European Union.
