Madeira 2030 has launched a €1.3 million Call for Projects to bolster the regional energy system's resilience, with applications open until November 9.

The Autonomous Region of Madeira now benefits from a new boost for its energy system. On October 26, Madeira 2030 published the Call for Projects M2030-2026-37 – Energy: Energy system resilience, under the Regional Program Madeira 2021-2027.
The primary objective of this call is to support the enhancement of the regional energy system's security, resilience, and stability. The total allocation is €1.3 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with a 25% support rate.
The application period runs from October 26 to November 9, 2026, closing at 5:00 PM. Submissions must be made through the Balcão dos Fundos.
