The Parish Council of Santa Maria, São Pedro e Matacães in Torres Vedras is organizing a solidarity walk on October 18, 2026, to mark Pink October, promoting breast cancer prevention.

On October 18, Torres Vedras will once again join Pink October with a solidarity walk dedicated to raising awareness for the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. The initiative combines physical exercise with a cause that concerns everyone, aiming to support women facing this disease and their families, while promoting the importance of early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles.
The event will take place at Parque do Choupal, in Torres Vedras, starting at 10:30 AM. Kit collection for participants begins at 9:00 AM. The minimum donation for registration is 8 euros, which includes a kit. All proceeds will be fully donated to the Portuguese League Against Cancer.
