The event includes the II Youth Triathlon of Colares, part of the Lisbon and Alto Alentejo Regional Youth Championship, featuring athletes from the Benjamins, Infantis, Iniciados, Juvenis, and Cadetes categories. The competition will consist of a swimming segment at the SintraSol Ocean Pools, a cycling course between Praia das Maçãs and Colares, and a running stage at Praia das Maçãs.
In parallel, the Aquathlon of Colares will take place, integrated into the Absolute Regional Championship, along with an Open Race in supersprint format, aimed at newcomers to the sport. This race will feature swimming segments at the SintraSol Ocean Pools and running at Praia das Maçãs.
The initiative is organized by Sport União Colarense, in collaboration with the Sintra Municipal Council and the Colares Parish Council. It is also supported by the Portuguese Triathlon Federation and SintraSol Tourist Apartments.
The event aims to promote sports practice and provide a moment of camaraderie among registered athletes, triathlon schools, regional clubs, and the general community, in addition to the competition itself.
