With this accession, the CCB becomes part of a national network of spaces contributing to climate change adaptation. The initiative offers locations where residents and visitors can find shelter and greater comfort on days with high temperatures, reinforcing the center's commitment to hospitality and the well-being of its audiences.
Participation in this network positions the CCB as a space open to the city, attentive to the needs of its visitors and current environmental challenges. The Climate Refuge Network | Stay Cool already includes 95 registered spaces across the country, involving various entities in a joint effort to protect populations and promote more sustainable and resilient tourism.
Adhering spaces can be consulted on the initiative's official platform, available at refugiosclimaticos.turismodeportugal.pt.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation states that it reserves the right to capture, store, and use image, sound, and voice recordings for the purpose of disseminating and preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
