Order of Engineers supports international tunnel event in Lisbon

The ITA Tunnelling Awards & CPT 20th Anniversary International Conference event will take place in November 2026, with technical visits to projects in Lisbon and Porto.

The Order of Engineers has announced its institutional support for the organization of the ITA Tunnelling Awards & CPT 20th Anniversary International Conference, aimed at promoting Portuguese Engineering and valuing activities in the field of tunnels and underground spaces.

The event, organized by the Portuguese Tunnelling Committee (CPT), of the Portuguese Geotechnical Society (SPG), and the International Tunnelling Association (ITA), will take place on November 4th and 5th, 2026, at the SUD HALL Lisbon. Technical visits are scheduled for November 6th to the works of the Lisbon and Porto Metro, as well as ongoing works for the PGDL.
