On October 3rd, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon (FFUL) welcomed the final students of the Integrated Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MICF) to its Graduation Ceremony. The Maria Odette Santos-Ferreira Auditorium served as the venue for this celebration, which brought together finalists, family members, faculty, and members of the FFUL community for an afternoon marked by emotion and recognition.
The ceremony featured speeches from the Director of FFUL, Graça Soveral; the President of the Scientific Council, Bruno Sepodes; and the President of the Pedagogical Council 2022-2026, Helena Margarida Ribeiro. Testimonials on academic and professional paths were shared by José Gavino, President of the General Assembly of the Order of Pharmacists (OF), representing the Dean; by Diana Costa, a pharmacist and former MICF student at FFUL, representing Alumni FFUL; and by Leonor Calado, President of AEFFUL. MICF finalists Beatriz Lopes and André Santos also shared their perspectives.
The performance by Tuna A Feminina, da FFUL, concluded the event, symbolically marking the finalists' farewell. More than just marking the end of an academic stage, the MICF Graduation Ceremony represents a moment of gathering and celebration for the FFUL community, recognizing the students' commitment and signaling the start of a new chapter in their professional lives.
