The EDP 8K race, a key part of the Lisbon Marathon, took place yesterday, October 11, 2026, starting at the Vasco da Gama Bridge and finishing in Parque das Nações, where participants were greeted by supporters.

The race, which began at the Vasco da Gama Bridge, traversed the parish and concluded at Parque das Nações, where participants were awaited by enthusiasts. The award ceremony for the male and female winners was conducted by president Carlos Ardisson.
The half marathon, also starting from the Vasco da Gama Bridge, proceeded to Praça do Comércio. Following the races, the Urban Hygiene teams from JFPN (Parque das Nações Parish Council) carried out the cleaning of the routes.
