The National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) is promoting, on November 5, the public awareness exercise for seismic risk "A TERRA TREME", in its 14th edition.

The objective of this exercise is to empower the population to know how to act in case of an earthquake, through the "3 life-saving gestures": drop, cover, and hold on. The initiative aims to raise citizens' awareness of seismic risk and encourage their involvement in building safer and more resilient communities.
Considered an act of citizenship and a civic commitment, the exercise challenges public, private, and associative organizations to involve their workers and collaborators in improving their readiness and reaction to earthquakes. Individual preparation is seen as the starting point for strengthening collective safety.
The ANEPC emphasizes that joining this initiative helps broaden the reach of the awareness campaign and reinforce the population's preparedness for seismic risk, mobilizing everyone for civil protection.
