The Azambuja Municipal Council has commenced the project to paint the facades and replace openings at the Vale de Aveiras Basic School, with an investment of €275,000.00, plus VAT, and an execution period of 150 days.

The main objective of this intervention is to improve the school building's conservation, comfort, energy efficiency, and safety conditions. The renovation of the facades and the replacement of current doors and windows with more modern and efficient solutions are the cornerstones of this work.
The works include the integral cleaning and painting of the exterior facades, aiming to protect the building against atmospheric agents and enhance the school environment. The replacement of existing frames with new PVC structures, equipped with double glazing and high thermal and acoustic performance systems, is also planned.
This renovation will reinforce thermal and sound insulation, improve comfort inside classrooms, and contribute to reducing energy consumption, thereby creating more suitable conditions for educational activities.
Through this intervention, the Municipality of Azambuja continues its work of upgrading the council's school facilities, focusing on improving educational infrastructure and creating more comfortable, safe, and efficient spaces for the entire school community of Vale de Aveiras.
