The election gala for the 2026 Grape Harvest and Wine Festival ambassador took place last night, marking the 29th edition of the festival. Maria Paula Silva, representing Externato João Alberto, was chosen by the jury.
The jury elected Rita Lourenço, representing the Junta de Freguesia of Arranhó, as the 2nd ambassador, and Carlota Esteves, representing the Associação Cultura DeGrau, as the 3rd ambassador.
The public's prize was awarded to Maria Quintino, a candidate representing the Junta de Freguesia of Cardosas. The photogenic prize went to Camila Silva, representing the Junta de Freguesia of Arruda dos Vinhos, and the sympathy prize was given to Mariana Antunes, who represented Externato João Alberto Faria.
The gala jury consisted of the President of the Câmara Municipal of Arruda dos Vinhos, Carlos Alves; Florbela Batista, from Turismo de Portugal; Clara Jacinto, Ambassador of the Vine and Wine 2025; Paulo Viduedo from Remax Vantagem, and Paulo Pinto, an actor.
