Amadora continues to offer free, confidential, and anonymous screenings for HIV, Hepatitis, and Syphilis throughout October, as part of the 'Rastrear para Prevenir' project.

Throughout October, AJPAS - Associação de Intervenção Comunitária, Desenvolvimento Social e de Saúde continues to conduct various free, confidential, and anonymous screening actions for several pathologies in Amadora. These initiatives are part of the "Rastrear para Prevenir" project.
The municipality of Amadora joined the international initiative Fast Track Cities in 2018. In 2021, it renewed its commitment until 2030 to combat and prevent HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis, aiming to achieve new goals in fighting HIV/AIDS and reducing stigma and discrimination in Amadora.
Screenings are also available free of charge, confidentially, and anonymously at AJPAS facilities, located at Praça Gil Eanes, Loja 2ª, Casal da Mira - Amadora. They are held from Mondays to Fridays, between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, covering tests for HIV, Hepatitis, and Syphilis.
