The Municipality of Peniche has taken a decisive step towards the creation of the Vale do Grou Industrial Zone, establishing pre-agreements with landowners and contacting entrepreneurs to promote the relocation and establishment of new businesses in the municipality.

The Municipality of Peniche announced a significant advancement in the Vale do Grou Industrial Zone project, an initiative considered crucial for the municipality's economic development. After a lengthy process, a pre-agreement has been reached with some of the landowners in the designated area for the project's first phase.
The Municipal Executive has expressed its support for the proposal presented by the Mayor during the meeting on August 10. The municipality is preparing the necessary projects for application to community funds, which will be followed by the zone's infrastructure development.
With the aim of boosting the local economy, the Municipality has already initiated contact with companies in the municipality to encourage their relocation to the future Industrial Zone. Concurrently, efforts are underway to ascertain the interest of entrepreneurs considering transferring their businesses or establishing new companies in the area.
The municipality calls for the active participation of all entrepreneurs and the general public in this moment of planning and rule-setting. Believing that economic dynamism is essential for generating more employment, wealth, and a better quality of life, the Vale do Grou Industrial Zone is viewed as both a necessity and a significant opportunity.
