The month of October 2026 brings a diverse cultural agenda to the Municipal Library and the Central Elétrica - Professor Rogério Cação Intergenerational Civic Center in Peniche. Activities will take place between October 1st and 24th.
Until October 12th, the exhibition SOB O MEU OLHAR (Under My Gaze), featuring practical-artistic workshops from CERISC | CERCIPENICHE, will be on display. Until October 11th, the exhibition EKUMBI by Paz Ramos can be visited.
On World Poetry Day, October 1st at 6:00 PM, the talk and showcase ESTIMA TERTÚLIA E SHOWCASE will feature musician and composer João Leitão.
The CONVERSAS PARA PENSAR A VIDA (Conversations to Think About Life) series continues on October 3rd at 3:00 PM with the theme "Who are we when life changes", featuring Daniela Bicho from the initiative A Vida é Outra (Life is Different). On October 10th at 2:30 PM, the session "WE ALL REACH THE END" with Ana Leonor Pacheco will take place.
The activity YOGA ENTRE HISTÓRIAS (Yoga Among Stories), facilitated by Ana Rita Duarte, is based on the book "The Smallest", by Lu Fraser and Kate Nindley, and will be held on October 24th at 3:00 PM. This activity is for children, with a maximum of 12 participants accompanied by one adult.
The operating hours for the Central Elétrica - CCI are Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays, from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The address is Rua Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro, 2520-430 Peniche.
