The Waste Park in Marinha Grande is increasing its availability for residents, now opening on Saturday mornings and accepting a wider range of waste.

The Waste Park, temporarily located next to the PME, is available to receive waste from individuals. From now on, the facility will also operate on Saturday mornings, aiming to facilitate drop-offs by residents.
The facility operates during the following hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM; and Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Residents can bring the following types of waste free of charge: Bulky waste (large items such as furniture and other household articles), Green waste (resulting from garden maintenance and cleaning), and Construction and demolition waste (from small DIY projects, up to a limit of 1 m³ or 1 ton).
This initiative aims to facilitate the proper disposal of these waste types, contributing to the cleanliness of public spaces and environmental protection. It is reminded that abandoning waste on public roads, next to bins, or in unauthorized locations is prohibited by law and subject to legal sanctions.
