The city of Marinha Grande experienced a sunny and lively day last Saturday, September 26th, with the 3rd edition of the Volta aos 7 Vidrala. The initiative, promoted by the Clube Atletismo de Marinha Grande, Vidrala, and the Município da Marinha Grande, attracted nearly 700 participants, combining running and walking in a solidarity event.
The route, which connected the city to the pine forest, was marked by entertainment, transforming the race into an experience that went far beyond sport. Along the course, participants were greeted by various activities that enriched the journey.
At the end of the race, awards were presented at the Jardins Stephens, where a crowd gathered to watch the arrival of the runners and walkers.
This year, the initiative was supported by Olympic athlete Vânia Silva and rally driver Rafael Cardeira, who served as godparents for the event, joining the day of camaraderie and sport.
The organization thanked all participants, companions, and partners for their contribution to the event, which aims to connect Marinha Grande with physical activity and its characteristic culture.
With the success achieved, the organization has already expressed its enthusiasm for holding the 4th edition next year.
