In the meeting held on September 25th, the President of the Pinhel Municipal Assembly, Ângela Guerra, presented a motion of condolence in memory of Anabela Pereira de Miranda, who passed away on September 18th. Anabela Pereira de Miranda served as a member of this municipal body between 2001 and 2013, as President of the Parish Council of Valbom and later as an elected member. Guerra also recalled her career as a kindergarten educator.
Furthermore, two motions of recognition were unanimously approved at the proposal of the Assembly President. One is directed at Fr. Jorge Castela, who bid farewell to the Pinhel community the previous Sunday, and the other at Prof. José Vaz, who ceased his duties as Director of the School Grouping of Pinhel in July.
On the agenda, the approval of requests for technical and administrative support from the Parish Councils of Freixedas, Souropires, Valbom / Bogalhal, and Pala stood out. These supports are for the preparation of processes for interventions and human resource recruitment in their respective parishes.
Additionally, the signing of a declaration of support for the conversion of the University of Guarda's status to "university" was approved.
