The Municipality of Gouveia was present at the 3rd National Meeting of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy in Torres Vedras, where it officially joined the Climate Passport for Cities.

The event brought together municipalities from across the country to discuss energy transition and environmental challenges. The central moment was the official presentation of the Climate Passport for Cities, a pioneering initiative developed by ADENE, the Agency for Climate (ApC), and IN+ (Instituto Superior Técnico).
This voluntary project aims to monitor and value the work of municipalities in climate action. As a member of the Covenant of Mayors, Gouveia proudly associates itself with this commitment, considering the Climate Passport an essential tool to monitor and provide visibility to the execution of its Municipal Climate Action Plan (PMAC).
By joining this national network, which already has the subscription of over 80 municipalities, Gouveia continues its work for sustainability and environmental preservation, aiming to ensure a more resilient future for its population.
