This initiative, promoted by the municipality of Celorico da Beira in partnership with GAF – Grupo Aprender em Festa, aims to promote, disseminate, and value local products, sustainable consumption, and the sharing of knowledge, flavors, culture, and traditions of the region.
The Union of Freguesias of Cortiçô, Vide-Entre-Vinhas and Salgueirais, along with the Freguesia Boards of Minhocal and Prados, will participate in the fair. They will showcase and value the products, knowledge, and traditions of their respective communities in an atmosphere of sharing and conviviality between producers, exhibitors, and visitors.
In addition to the commercial aspect of product exhibition and sale, the edition will feature a workshop on aromatic herbs, led by Fazenda da Esperança. There will also be social gatherings and entertainment, including a musical performance by the group Os Amigos da Farra.
Throughout its editions, "Ecomarket – Agroecologia para tod@s" has established itself as a key driver of a sustainable local economy and a meeting space for producers and consumers in Celorico da Beira.
