The gathering, held on September 28th, established shared leadership between the municipalities of São Brás de Alportel and Vila Real de Santo António for the network's coordination over the next two years. A central focus of the agenda was the launch of a new process to support artistic creation, with defined timelines and procedures.
Also discussed were the status of the commemorative publication for the Red AZul's 10 years, the presentation of ACTA – A Companhia de Teatro do Algarve, and Jani Zhao's project. Further steps were analyzed regarding the protocol between Red AZul, AMAL, and CCDR Algarve, as well as the operationalization of the activity plan and its schedule.
Established in 2016, Red AZul unites cultural institutions across the Algarve region on a collaborative platform dedicated to fostering artistic creation, production, and circulation. Over the past decade, it has facilitated connections between artists, organizations, venues, and audiences, promoting the dissemination of performances and artistic projects throughout partner municipalities.
