The Inclusion Club, in São Brás de Alportel, is using music as a tool to create new avenues for expression and participation, challenging participants to build instruments adapted to their needs.

The initiative, supported by Music teacher Susy Soares, aims not only to create unique musical instruments but also to perform the club's own music. This activity adds to the diverse range of experiences offered by the Inclusion Club, which include educational, sports, recreational, and cultural activities, as well as outings.
The work carried out by the Inclusion Club primarily aims to combat loneliness, isolation, and discrimination. Through inclusive experiences tailored to individual interests, the project focuses on promoting autonomy, active participation, and improving the quality of life for its members.
The Inclusion Club is part of the São Brás Cuida project, one of 12 global activities under the Local Social Development Contracts – 5th Generation (CLDS 5G). The project is coordinated by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de São Brás de Alportel, with fundamental support from the Municipality and funding from the Algarve 2030 Regional Program, Portugal 2030, and the European Union.
