As part of the “Open Days” initiative, promoted by the Loulé Criativo project, the session will take place between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM and will address the challenges of sustainability, identity preservation, and future dynamics of the artisanal sector under the theme “Artisanal Creation: Value, Identity, and Future”.
The panel of experts will include Carlos Coelho, founder and president of Ivity Brand Corp; Célia Macedo, potter and researcher of contemporary crafts; Dália Paulo, municipal director of the Câmara de Loulé; and Filipa Belo, founder of Portugal Manual. The moderation will be led by Henrique Ralheta, coordinator of the Design Lab do Loulé Criativo.
This debate is one of the highlights of the “Open Days”, an event designed to bring the community and visitors closer to traditional arts through demonstrations, creative experiences, and knowledge sharing.
The initiative underscores the municipal project's role in safeguarding and revitalizing intangible heritage, combining traditional knowledge with contemporary innovation.
