Hundreds of residents and visitors celebrated Halloween in Albufeira, participating in a walk through the historic center and a night of entertainment featuring a concert by the band PHAROL.

Halloween celebrations in Albufeira kicked off in the morning with a walk through the arteries of the historic center and the Marina area. The Municipal Council invited residents and visitors to appreciate the local heritage, on a route that started from the Municipal Tourist Office and gathered over 60 participants. The initiative allowed a revisit to the municipality's history through its main identity landmarks, such as the Mother Church, the Clock Tower, the Pau da Bandeira, and the tunnel of Rua 5 de Outubro, which provides access to Peneco beach.
In the early evening, Largo Eng.º Duarte Pacheco transformed into the stage for a diverse program, designed for all generations, which combined the discovery of the municipality's history with the typical entertainment of one of the year's most popular nights. Starting at 8:00 PM, music and itinerant entertainment set the mood to welcome costumed revelers.
The highlight of the night was the concert by the band PHAROL, which took the stage at 10:00 PM with an energetic performance that got the square dancing and concluded the celebrations of the year's most haunted night. The large turnout of Albufeira residents and visitors demonstrates the success of the Municipality's commitment to events that revitalize the city center outside the bathing season.
By combining the cultural and heritage aspects with popular entertainment, the Albufeira Municipal Council aims to bring families to the historic center throughout the year, contributing to the revitalization of the downtown area and the local commerce.
