The Casa do Povo de Brotas was filled with the sound of accordions to host the III Accordion Festival “Sertório Ramalho”, which marked the end of the Senior Month program in the municipality of Mora. The event took place on October 31st.
The gathering was attended by Municipal Councilors Luís Branco and Maria Joaquina Salgueiro, and served to honor the memory of Sertório Ramalho, an accordionist who left a significant mark on the municipality and at a national level.
Musicians Tiago Pirralho, Tiago Inácio, Adriano da Lapa, Artur Pinto, and Marcelino Correia were the protagonists of this musical tribute. The Grupo de Cantares of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Pavia joined the celebration, performing songs that delighted the audience.
The afternoon was dedicated to popular music, traditions, and memories, in an event that celebrated local culture and community.
