The event brought together music and culture enthusiasts, marking a date of special significance for the appreciation of artistic creation and musical heritage. The concert also included the presentation of the CD by the Eborae Mvsica Polyphonic Choir, a group known for its dissemination of polyphony from the Évora Cathedral Music School, spanning the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as for interpreting works from various periods of music history.
Representing the Regional Coordination and Development Commission of Alentejo, I.P., Vice-President Henrique Sim-Sim was present, emphasizing the institution's commitment to valuing the culture, identity, and intangible heritage of the Alentejo region.
The Eborae Mvsica Polyphonic Choir has dedicated years to researching, recovering, and promoting the musical heritage associated with the Évora Cathedral Music School, contributing to the preservation and projection of a significant aspect of Portuguese musical history.
